The Infant Phenomenon - Golden Girl Forever

The star of the show was in a blue funk;
The Infant Phenom in depression was sunk.
While the corps of performers mumbled and muttered,
The spark of the star again seemed to sputter.
On cue, Manager Crummles, obliging his daughter,
Presented in crystal, her gin and water.
Once sauvage-terrible, this wily ol’ gal,
Now for the troupe made life a pure hell.
No longer a charming young, ingenue bright,
No longer was she gamin and sprite,
But afflicted with PMS right to the corps.
Her supporting cast was oft’ heard to beg,
“Oh, that she would just break a leg!”
